創作背景
由迪士尼頻道情景喜劇《Hannah Montana》一炮走紅的童星Miley Cyrus，帶著其父親、鄉村音樂歌手Billy Ray Cyrus的音樂遺傳基因再次出擊，發行了她的第二張個人專輯《Breakout》。Miley Cyrus稱這張專輯是自己成人的標誌，“除了兩首歌之外，其他歌曲的歌詞都是我自己寫的。我的上一張專輯《Meet Miley Cyrus》只是讓人們認識我，知道我是誰。而這一張則更深層次地表現出在過去的一年裡我都做了些什麼。”該專輯的第一首單曲《7 Things》已於六月發行，當即衝進Billboard Hot 100單曲榜前十。
